These resources establish the purposes of the Discipline Committee and the Fitness to Practise Committee and how they do their work.
Early Childhood Educators Act, 2007 – Government of Ontario legislation that creates the Discipline and Fitness to Practise Committees and gives them their power to make decisions about accusations of professional misconduct or incapacity against Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs)
Professional Misconduct Regulation– Government of Ontario regulation that lists different kinds of acts that can be professional misconduct. (Some other kinds of professional misconduct are listed in the Early Childhood Educators Act, 2007.)
